Presentation and Lunch to meet the British Army at MOD Stafford

Date and Time: Tuesday, 6 March 2012 10.30AM - 2PM

You are invited to a presentation and lunch to meet the British Army at MOD Stafford. There will be a chance to get ‘hands on’ with some of our latest equipment including tanks, artillery pieces and machine guns and also to meet some of our  soldiers, many of whom have recently returned from difficult operations in Afghanistan and who have a real story to tell.

We feel it is important that you, as a key opinion former within in the region, are informed about what your army is doing and how we spend taxpayer’s money so that you have a clearer understanding of the Army’s roles and responsibilities. At a time when the Army is so heavily committed, your support is of real value to us.

The lunch is held to coincide with Exercise ‘MIDLAND SOLDIER’, the largest army careers exhibition in the country, which is attended by some 6000 schoolchildren and college students; our potential officers and nsoldiers of the future. As an influential member of the community or a possible employer of Territorial Army
soldiers, we would value the opportunity to show you exactly what we do and why your support is key in helping us to do our unique job effectively.

A buffet lunch will follow a short briefing, which will cover a wide range of issues and topics that can be discussed later, and a tour of the MIDLAND SOLDIER exhibition area.  If you would like to attend this event please contact Mike Frewer MikeFrewer@aol.com or Brigadier M P Banham MBE 01743 262242
