finest Structure

As a member-driven organisation, finest has developed a formal structure to become an influential force in the region.

It is a respected voice regionally among the professional sector and an active power in the world of commerce. Their success is largely attributed to the commitment and passion of members through for key working groups.

It is managed by an overarching steering group made up of the chair, deputy chair and four chairs of the working groups.

Its four working groups are:

Marketing Group

Mission: To market finest and its activities, to raise the profile of the Professional Services Business Sector in North Staffordshire, to manage and report on all membership issues

Key objectives include:

  • Promotion of finest members and the local professional services sector, both within and outside of the North Staffordshire area
  • To raise awareness of finest  and its activities with existing and potential members and the wider local business community
  • To manage and report on membership levels for recruitment and retention

Projects Group

Mission

To identify and develop projects to benefit finest and the Professional Services Sector of North Staffordshire

Key objectives include:

  • Recruitment and retention of skills in North Staffordshire
  • Supporting and raising aspirations in all tiers of education
  • To lead and share best practice

Events Group

Mission

To deliver a programme of events that offer value to members and meet the objectives of finest

Key objectives include:

To provide a minimum of 20 events per calendar year
To offer diverse events to engage an optimum number of members and potential members
To maximise finest brand recognition and exposure through the events programme

futurefinest Steering Group

Mission

To promote North Staffordshire’s professional sector by bringing together, developing and creating opportunities for its future leaders


Key objectives include:

  • To build present and future business relationships
  • To attract, retain and expand professional talent in the area
  • To support members’ personal and professional development and to enhance members’ career opportunities 
  • To be the voice of North Staffordshire’s future professional leaders
  • Working and lobbying with local groups such as NSRP and The City Centre
