The UK Trade & Investment Teams in Madrid and Barcelona are organising two Sector Focussed Workshops taking place in Madrid on 31st January and in Barcelona on 1st February.
This event will give UK corporate training and specialist English providers a valuable chance to promote their services to potential buyers and partners from three sectors. There is a well-identified skills shortage in Spain in the area of language and corporate training in general, which has led the members of Business English to identify Spain as a priority market. 45% of jobs advertised in Spain require fluent English, yet only 18% of Spaniards have an adequate English conversation level. The most recent ‘Barometer of the business climate report’ published by Invest in Spain identifies language skills as one of the two key aspects necessary to improve human capital in Spain.
